Councillor Rick Parkinson
"Hi, I'm Rick Parkinson and I joined the Parish Council to help in the village I love and care about.
I have lived in the village for over 30 years and brought my family up in the village.
I have been a Parent Governor and Chair of Governors at what was then our local Primary School, (it is now Nursery and Infant). I was Finance Governor at Birkbeck Secondary school in North Somercotes.
I have been on the Village Hall Committee helping to run the facility for the village and surrounding area.
I'm on hand if anyone has any issues to be raised at the Parish Council meetings and will do all can to help out the community in Marshchapel.
At home I like a relaxed time and at work I work for Anglian Water on a HGV tanker collecting waste for recycling."
