Minutes of the Meeting of Marshchapel Parish Council held in the Village Hall Meeting Room on Tuesday 16th April, 2019 at 7.30 pm
Present: Cllrs. P Rickett (Chair), C. Henderson, (Vice Chair), H. Mason, R. Bealey, R. Parkinson, R. Cordy, S. Osbourne .
Apologies: Cllr. Palmer (ELDC); Cllr D McNally (LCC & ELDC); Clerk: Mrs P. Plumridge.

Cllr Rickett declared an interest in planning application N/118/00081/19 (under correspondence)

The minutes of the last meeting were moved and signed.
135.18 – Matters Arising/ Clerks Report
Speed sign. - Saltfleetby have been offered £600, they have not replied.
Election – All nomination papers were accepted, we have 7 Councillors, we will be advised when to go ahead with co-opting one more.
Audit – Notification of audit has been received. All is ready for May meeting. An internal auditor has been found, same gentleman as last year.

138.18 Playing Field
A new contractor is cutting the main field for £25 per cut, fortnightly. Proposed Cllr Rickett, seconded Cllr Parkinson. Contractor to be asked for copy of public liability insurance.
Tim will cut and maintain play area for £40 per visit, (fortnightly). Proposed Cllr Parkinson, seconded Cllr Mason. As the area has now been divided, the school will only be required to pay 1/3 rd share of the main field cut.
139.18 BKV
The school have agreed to join in with the poster campaign. We will provide Smythe toy vouchers as prizes.
It was proposed that we split it into two age groups this year, Nursery and R/Y1/2 and just provide 1st and second prizes of £10 and £5 plus sweets for all. Proposed by Cllr Rickett, seconded by Cllr Osbourne.

N/118/00081/19 – Mr & Mrs Rickett, Newcroft, notified passed.
141.18 Damage Report – hole in Church Lane, near Church, left hand side.
The poor state of Littlefield Lane has been commented upon, by email, by two Parishioners.

143.18– AOB
No progress has been made with trimming trees etc. at Village Hall since Mr Mossop has not attended meeting. This will now go forward with us drawing up a plan of our own.

Tuesday 14th May, 2019 - 7.00pm Trust and 7.30pm Annual Parish Meeting, Annual Parish Council meeting and ordinary meeting.
